Some Kudos...

So I received an email the other day from Outskirts Press (this is my publisher) and they are nominating EverWing for an award. It is called the EVVY which is handed out by the CIPA (Colorado Independent Publisher Association). The award is in recognition of self published authors whose work is considered good stuff and is an invite only submission which means I cannot send my book in for consideration only the publisher. Wow, huh..... According to my publisher, they nominate less than 5% of theirs books. I thought cool but than had realization kick in asking: How many books do they publish (cause if you get nominated and they only publish three books....well you get the idea). They stated in 2007 they published 2100 books and in 2008 they already have surpassed this number. Okay than..... I am happy to be nominated. I will keep you posted. Winners are not announced until the Spring.. Long wait. MJ
